"HE FOUND YOU LOST AND GUIDED YOU" [The Qur'an, 93:07]
Once
there was a girl who lived in a high-tech castle of a kingdom favoured with
intelligence and superpowers of all types. She was a blessed little
princess as she had inherited both of her parents' superpowers: fire and water.
Such a miracle was very rare, perhaps she was the only one at the time to be in
control of two major nature forces.
Since childhood,
she dedicated herself to mastering both her superpowers. She practiced day and
night, and after countless failures, she finally succeeded in achieving her
dream: displaying artistic images. As she grew up to be a fine lady, she
was also known for her extraordinary ability to exhibit stories with water and
fire that amazed the audience for witnessing such beauty. Soon, word of
her talent reached faraway worlds, and so many more were attracted to her
artistic mastery, one of a kind.
Finally, the big
day had come: she worked so hard for the event of the century, where every
master could perform their abilities. She was anxious and excited at the same
time. She was about to achieve her ultimate goal when a misfortune touched her
all of a sudden: she felt a severe pinching pain in her hands and collapsed.
When she woke up, all she remembered of that day was just the pain. This
tragedy took away her powers. Her water evaporated, and of the fire was left
nothing but some smoke: they disappeared just like her dream.
She fell from
the clouds down to the ground; a void filled her eyes.
Upon coming of
age to inherit the crown, she was criticised for not having the main
ingredient: supernatural power. However hard she tried, they never came back.
She had no choice but to give up on the succession, and the reign fell into the
hands of her aunt. She never got along with her aunt's family: her cousins
would make fun of her in many ways since they were little, but now she had
grown up, now she could understand people's nature. Therefore, she decided
to turn away from the luxurious life of the castle, which was no more hers.
She endured
countless hardships, lost all hope, and the pain of losing her powers
intensified with each passing day. The desire of returning to what she was
capable of, the magical images her hands could create, the joy felt from the
satisfaction of the audience: she missed
every bit of her happiness. She scoured every source she could find, desperate
to understand why she had been deprived.
One day, while
she was looking for answers through an abandoned library, she found a book with
no dust on it while the other books were ruined, this was the only one that was
still shining as if it was just made. She opened a random page and started to read
the first line her eyes captured the attention of: “Allah does not burden a
soul beyond that it can bear...”. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity. Who
was Allah, she thought as her eyes looked for another line: “Do not lose hope,
nor be sad. You will surely be victorious if you are true believers.” who are
true believers, she questioned herself as she closed the book and re-read the
title she overlooked: “The Holy Quran”.
For the next few
months, all she did was to read the mysterious book and do all the research
required to understand this treasure she had found, long lost in time.
The reason why
affliction fell on her was not her pursuit anymore, the ‘why’ and ‘how’ made no
difference, the answers could be any of the theories she ended up assembling.
What she knew for sure is that of the truth, in the end, only Allah is aware.
Doubt can only lead her to obscurity and into the abyss of possibilities that
never truly finds its reality.
What mattered
now was only the direction this course of events was leading her to. What
mattered now, was how she was going to let her past affect her future.
She found
serenity with Allah, she filled her emptiness with the love of Ar-Rahman, The
Most Merciful.
She learned so
many things and grew even stronger than before, she wouldn't cry over her loss
anymore, as she realized that everything happens for a reason, which may not
seem pretty in the moment but is always for the better: because it is by Allah’s wisdom, who is The All-Wise. She became grateful for all the
good and patient for all the bad moments in her life. She started to embrace
her situation with a more positive mindset and she spent most of her life
helping those in need: more and more people of all kinds would come and share
their issues with her by never getting disappointed from the piece of advice
that she enlightened them with.
Perhaps this was
her new magic.
Then came the
day when the royal family lost their subjects’ trust by not being efficient
enough in their duties. The attention was focused on the lost princess who was
bringing The Light back into the dark world of that time. Many complained
that the king and queen, who were the same aunt and uncle that took her place,
were not thinking about the kingdom's welfare and were only blind to all the
benefits they had from being at the top of everyone.
People of all
social classes manifested against them and wanted the lost princess as their
queen, as she was recognised for being wise and kind, they saw all the
qualities in her of a leader they needed. She
rose to become the queen she was meant to be, yet remained humble: seeking
Allah’s guidance in every matter.
Those who heard
her story would come to visit and question her: “What happened to you?” and she
would reply to them with a smile: “He found me lost and guided me.”
Ma Sha Allah... Great story .. Love it.. Keep it up🌸⭐
